Kirk Willison is Arch MI's chief government affairs advocate. He communicates with policymakers and industry groups about mortgage insurance's benefits and how to grow affordable homeownership. He publishes the Capital Commentary newsletter and hosts the Arch MI PolicyCast on housing policies. He has worked at Ginnie Mae, Freddie Mac and other mortgage firms. He is from California and lives near DC.
